Expected outcomes for your teams and business
What the training concretely changes, beyond the classroom:
-
Shorter lead times
Work flows faster from idea to customer, with fewer queues and less work stuck in progress.
-
More value, less waste
Teams spot and remove the activities that cost time without bringing value to customers.
-
Problems solved for good
Root cause analysis stops the same incidents and frictions from coming back.
-
Engaged, improving teams through continuous learning
Continuous improvement becomes a team habit, and managers focus on developing people.
Learning objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the principles of Lean and where they come from (Toyota Production System)
- Identify value and the eight wastes in a software delivery flow
- Improve flow: work in progress limits, one-piece flow, lead time
- Solve problems at their root with PDCA and structured problem solving
- Lead through the gemba: go and see, listen to bad news, support teams
- Start and sustain a continuous improvement routine in your team

Teaching approach
Interactive and grounded in practice: games and simulations to feel the effects of flow, real cases from tech teams, and exercises on your own situation (mapping your delivery flow, analysing an actual problem). Participants leave with concrete next steps rather than a theory.
Tailored to your context
A preparation call helps me understand your organisation, your current practices and what you want to improve. In coaching format, the training continues with regular sessions alongside your team, on real problems.
